Why shouldn't I hire a full-time designer on my payroll?That's a great question! Hiring a full-time senior designer nowadays exceeds USD $100,000 annually, plus benefits and extras, and they're not easily found and hirable. Also, you might not have enough workload for them to keep them busy, causing you to pay more for less. With our monthly membership plan you can have a team of multilingual designers at your service, creating custom designs for you, paying only when you need to. You can pause and resume your subscription as you need it, whenever you need it.

How fast can I receive my designs?We usually take two days or less to complete your requests. There are some requests that can take longer due to their complexity.

How many requests can I ask for?Once subscribed, you can add as many design requests to your "request" list on your Trello Board as you would like, and, depending on your subscription plan, we deliver them one by one or two by two.

How do I request designs?We create and give you access to a Trello board specifically for you and/or your team. There, you'll find a "Request" list where you can add as many design requests as you like, in order of priority (from top highest priority, to bottom lowest priority). There, you can share links, docs, wireframes, and references for us to understand your requirements and needs and see the progress of your requests as they move through the lists ("Working On", "Review", "Finished").

What if I only have a single request?That's ok! If you only have a single design request, you might be interested in our project-based option. You can contact us, then we will schedule a meeting to discuss your request and then we can send you a customized quote for your project.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the design?No worries. We'll keep working on it until you are completely satisfied with it.

How can I cancel my subscription?You can cancel your subscription any time. To do so, go to your Membership page and under the “My Subscriptions” tab you can select the option “Cancel Plan”. Please note that we do not offer any Refunds. Once you cancel your subscription, you will no longer be charged the monthly fee. If we are working on a design during the cancelation of the plan, we will finish that specific design with your approval, and no other design requests will be considered. We will remove you and/or your team from your Trello board five days after your cancellation date.

Who does the design?You are in the hands of two designers, Jose and Pamela. We work on your design requests, and we communicate directly with you. Also, we're the founders of Helicoid Studio, so there's no middleman. Jose and Pamela have over 15 years of experience working as designers and are fully bilingual (English and Spanish).

Is there any design work you don't do?Yes. We do not do 3D modeling, 3D animations, and video production (tv commercial, documentary, etc.). For those types of requests, you can contact us directly at hello@helicoidstudio.com with your request, and we can make a separate quote for you, if the project is within the scope of work we do. We'll be happy to help you!

Can I get a refund if I don't like the service?We work really focused towards achieving your 100% satisfaction, so we happily make as many revisions as are needed to the designs. Our quality speaks for our work and your success is our priority. For those reasons we do not provide refunds of any kind.

Do you work with different time zones?Yes! We can work with different time zones. Keep in mind that our working hours are from 9AM to 5PM GMT-5 / CST, Monday through Friday.

Do you go out on vacations?That's right! We take 15 vacation days a year. We'll notify you in advance when we take them so you can pause your subscription and get those credit days whenever you need them.
